Export vCard To Yahoo Contacts



Switching from one mail to another, because of different requirement.

Making the yahoo mail, a free web based email service for a business purpose to manage the email messages. For proper managing the emails, importing contacts from other used email clients or service is required. Several web based mails and email clients can easily export the contacts as CSV format or files. After that you just need to import that file into your Yahoo, so your contacts keep in touch with you within yahoo.

As Yahoo demands for the CSV file format, so we have to take care about exporting CSV file to send during Export vCard to yahoo contacts.

For conversion of CSV file format, a third party tool is required which can easily convert the contacts into CSV file format

Now follow the step to perform Import vCard to yahoo contact.

1- Open your web browser and login into your Yahoo mail.

2- Click on the contacts option located on a top most of the web page.

3- Now click on the Action tab near the top of the contact page.

4- Now select Import contacts from the drop down menu.

5- Click on the others button.

6- Eliminate the check mark from the Another Yahoo Account option.

7- Put a check mark in front of the current source of CSV. Options available will be outlook, Apple mail( email client) and also the web based client like Gmail, Hotmail and AOL

8- Now select the Browse button that is present beneath the option which you had activated previously.

9- Now select the CSV file in the output file browser and click open.

10- Locate the check mark in the front of the text written Yahoo gives permission to send my username and password. Option near the bottom of the page.

11- Select the continue button and wait for the yahoo to extract the contacts from the CSV file.

12- Now click on the Select All option and click import CSV file into Yahoo mail.

13- Select the Finish button to finish the importing the contacts.

By following these illustrated steps you can easily import vcard to yahoo contacts.
